** I'll have another exciting announcement about the expansion of CoachingSearch.com in the next few days.  Also, with the transactions beginning to slow down, be sure to follow the homepage stories throughout the day that keep you informed on what other coaches are saying and doing.  There is no better resource for coaches this off-season than homepage articles on CoachingSearch.com

Tampa Bay Bucs: Sources tell me that Princeton running backs coach Andy Aurich will join the Tampa Bay Bucs' coaching staff.

Tulsa: Southwest Baptist University defensive backs coach Darnell Walker Sr. has accepted the corners job at Tulsa.

Georgetown: Sources tell me that former Columbia tight ends coach Mike Neuberger has accepted the wide receivers job at Georgetown.

Elon: Slippery Rock linebackers coach Freddie Aughtry-Lindsay has accepted the linebackers job at Elon University.

St. Louis Rams: Sources tell me that Rutgers running backs coach Ben Sirmans has accepted the running backs job with the St. Louis Rams.  Since Sirmans recently left Boston College for Rutgers, you can now add him to the list of coaches that have accepted 2 different jobs in a matter of weeks this off-season.

Tampa Bay Bucs: The Tampa Bay organization has paid Rutgers at total of $500,000 as part of Greg Schiano's buyout.  Schiano still owes the university $300,000 for a home loan.

Updated chart: 2012 spring practice dates

St. Louis Rams: Sources tell me that Rutgers running backs coach Ben Sirmans could end with the St. Louis Rams running backs job.

LSU: TigerBait.com is reporting that Nebraska defensive backs Corey Raymond has accepted the defensive backs job at LSU.  Interestingly, Raymond stated over the weekend that he would not be going to LSU.  Obviously, something changed.

Rhode Island: Defensive line coach Brian Vaganek has been promoted to defensive coordinator and Bowdoin safeties / recruiting coordinator Ryan Mattison has joined the staff to coach the defensive backs.  Quarterbacks coach Liam Coen has added the title of passing game coordinator.  Former Rhode Island player Matt Urban will serve as the assistant defensive backs coach. Also, former Lycoming defensive backs coach Matt Sutjak has joined the staff as assistant offensive line coach.

Iowa: Iowa has officially announced former Texas offensive coordinator / quarterbacks coach Greg Davis as the new offensive coordinator / quarterbacks coach of the Hawkeyes.

Kentucky: In addition to coaching the wide receivers, Pat Washington will have the title of passing game coordinator.

Murray State: Eastern New Mexico wide receivers coach Ross Jenkins has accepted the wide receivers job at Murray State.  Jenkins is the former quarterback at LA Tech.

Pitt: Desmond Robinson has accepted the running backs job.  Also, Arkansas director of on-campus recruiting Dann Kabala has accepted the director of player personnel position.  As expected, Brooks Bollinger is the new quarterbacks coach.

Purdue: Sources tell me that Nevada offensive quality control Kevin Maurice has accepted the offensive grad assistant job at Purdue.

Central Arkansas: Head coach Clint Conque has received a 2-year contract extension and $5,000 raise. Conque will now earn $138,000 annually.

Georgia Tech: Sources tell me that Paul Johnson is now interviewing special teams coaches.

** It's been a great week on the site with numerous breaking transactions.  I'll have a couple of new additional features coming soon.  I think you're going to like what is ahead in the near future.  Please continue to help spread the word about this site.

Southern University (LA): Manny Martin has joined the staff as defensive backs coach.  Martin previously coached at the high school level in Florida.

Utah State: Former Louisville offensive coordinator / tight ends coach Mike Sanford has talked with Gary Anderson regarding the running backs job at Utah State.

Wyoming: UNLV linebackers / recruiting coordinator Robin Ross has accepted the linebackers job at Wyoming.

Georgia Tech: Sources tell me that UCF offensive line coach Brent Key talked with Paul Johnson, but has decided to remain at UCF.  I'm told that Key is set to receive a pay raise and additional title at UCF.

St. Louis Rams: Sources close to the situation tell me that Jeff Fisher has interviewed two college assistants including Wisconsin running backs coach Thomas Hammock for the running backs job with the Rams. I'm told Hammock interviewed very well and that Fisher will be making a decision in the next 48 hours.

St. Louis Rams: Chicago Bears pro scout Dennard Wilson has accepted the defensive quality control position on Jeff Fisher's staff with the Rams.

Army: Sources tell me that Georgetown linebackers / special teams coordinator Luke Thompson will be named special teams coordinator at Army.

Georgia State: Defensive backs / special teams coordinator Anthony Midget will interview for the defensive coordinator position.

Troy: Sources tell me that West Georgia defensive backs / special teams coordinator / assistant head coach James Colzie has interviewed for the corners job at Troy. I am told Colzie is the leading candidate, at this point. Larry Blakeney has opted to hire a corners coach instead of adding another defensive line coach.
